2/23/19 – Café Musique

An Evening of outstanding Gypsy Jazz Tango with Café Musique

Sat. February 23rd, at 7:30pm

“Their sound is something like two scoops of gypsy folk with classical sauce and a sprinkling of chopped jazz. It’s delicious, exotic and just overflowing with talent … the group was phenomenal, alternating smoothly from fast and fun to serious and endearing, but it was the group’s humor that really stole the show. “
— Nick Powell, New Times, San Luis Obispo

Hailing from the Central Coast, Café Musique delights listeners with a delicious musical melange ranging from classical to swing music, from gypsy jazz to tango, and throwing in a few waltzes for good measure! Combining the beauty of the violin with the dynamic expression of the accordion, Café Musique adds compelling vocal harmonies to a mix of timeless standards and new compositions. The quintet features Brynn Albanese on violin and vocals, Duane Inglish on accordion, Fred Murray on bass, Craig Nuttycombe on guitar and vocals, and Eric Williams on guitar, ukulele, bouzouki, banjo and vocals.
